This comprehensive, illustrated home orientation guide by Mercy Housing is designed to assist newcomers in understanding how to maintain their apartments, use appliances, ensure safety and security, be a good neighbor, and more. This valuable resource is available in 15 languages widely spoken by newcomer populations.
This resource has been developed through a collaborative effort between the African Community Center in Denver, Colorado, and Mercy Housing, Inc. Illustrations and conceptual design have been provided by Carol Kimball. The African Community Center is a program office of the Ethiopian Community Development Center (ECDC) based in Washington, D.C.
