Understanding Housing Challenges for Newcomers
HUD's Fair Housing Training Academy has released a new learning pathway. After consulting with newcomer service providers and stakeholders, Navigating New Horizons: A Pathway to Understanding Housing Challenges for Individuals New to the U.S. Housing System is now live.
“The purpose of this Learning Pathway is to empower fair housing professionals, service providers, and community organizations with the tools, knowledge, and resources to address the unique housing challenges faced by newcomers. Referrals and partnerships are vital for creating a supportive environment for newcomers. Referrals address immediate needs, while partnerships build a stronger, more cohesive support network.
